Our Random Acts of Kindness (RAK) crew was at the Palm Harbor Library on Saturday, July 26th, and it was a great success. They had a full schedule, but got through the busy day like the troopers they are, seeing almost 20 computers and fixing most of them. Great work guys! We had many grateful and satisfied customers.
As usual, Dave (Doc) Dockery organized and coordinated the event, as well as worked on computers, and even got the Random Acts of Kindness flag flying high on the library's flagpole. Frank Bucca, Art Crofford, Ron Kalmin, Dennis Schulman, and Chuck Vroman rounded out the team, with Jan Norman meeting and greeting those who had signed up and handling all the paperwork.
Everyone who participated was also treated to chips, chocolate chip cookies and brownies to die for, soda and coffee, with pizza being delivered around lunch time. Thanks go to Dana Dockery and the library staff for making everyone feel so welcome. Everything was great!
The following pictures were taken at the event. Check them out and see if we caught you tasting one of those brownies.
